You've got a school improvement plan...now what?
Research shows most school improvement plans, once completed, are never fully implemented - and often not implemented at all. In Dr. Lezotte's NEW 2-day program, your school-based team will take the next step toward improved student achievement by focusing on process and implementation. This training program will empower your school-based team with the knowledge, skills, and tools they need to actually put your school improvement plan into action. In fact, your team will be expected to bring your SIP and work with it during the program.

The NEXT STEP: The Effective Schools Continuous Improvement Process
Unlike many approaches to school improvement that have come and gone, the Effective Schools Process has withstood the test of time and, in fact, has evolved as our knowledge of what works in schools has grown. The process takes the Correlates of Effective Schools and integrates them with two other powerful theories - Continuous Improvement & Systems Theory - to create a comprehensive approach to improving student learning. The continuous school improvement process is a framework for ongoing change that makes sense, bringing staff together in a spirit of collaboration, inquiry, and learning.

Your team members will leave the training with the skills they need...
To assess and analyze your school's current situation; identify areas for improvement; plan and implement specific school-improvement strategies and best instructional practices that are research-based and data-driven; and monitor and evaluate your school's progress in a way that leads to ongoing and sustained improvements in student achievement. You will also receive one-year, school-wide access to the Effective Schools Research LiNK , a vast online database of school improvement research that will enable you to easily identify proven practices appropriate for your school.

Tuition: $1,200 for a 4-person team, includes: 2 days training with Larry Lezotte (8 am - 3:30 pm). A 1-year school-wide license to the Research LiNK (a $299 value). Morning and afternoon refreshments and hosted lunch.
